The 4 WCAG Principles (POUR)

We evaluate web accessibility based on the 4 fundamental pillars of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, ensuring comprehensive compliance.

Perceivable

Information must be presented in ways users can perceive.

  1. 01 Text alternatives for images
  2. 02 Captions in videos
  3. 03 Adequate color contrast
  4. 04 Content adaptable to different formats

Operable

User interface components must be operable by all users.

  1. 01 Full keyboard navigation
  2. 02 Enough time to read
  3. 03 No content that causes seizures
  4. 04 Navigation and orientation aids

Understandable

Information must be presented in ways users can understand.

  1. 01 Clear and readable text
  2. 02 Predictable content
  3. 03 Help to prevent errors
  4. 04 Clear instructions and labels

Robust

Content must be robust to work with diverse technologies.

  1. 01 Valid HTML code
  2. 02 Compatible with screen readers
  3. 03 Component identification
  4. 04 Correct semantics

Official WCAG-EM (W3C) accessibility audit methodology

We follow WCAG-EM, the official W3C methodology to evaluate web accessibility. It is a structured process that guarantees comparable, reproducible, and valid results for any external audit.

01

Initial diagnosis

We define the scope, which pages, which functionalities, and which technologies. We identify critical user flows and select a representative sample according to WCAG-EM.

02

WCAG audit

We evaluate each page in the sample against the 50 WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We combine automated tools with expert manual review to detect what machines do not see.

03

Solution design

We document each issue with visual evidence, affected code, and a proposed solution. We prioritize by user impact and implementation effort.

04

Guided implementation

We support your technical team during remediation. We review code, validate solutions, and answer questions. We do not leave you alone with a PDF.

05

Final validation

We re-evaluate the corrected pages to confirm compliance. We generate the accessibility statement ready to publish.

Accessibility from start to finish

We don't just identify problems: we provide you with the tools, documentation and knowledge needed to ensure regulatory compliance. We facilitate compliance without overloading your team.

Accessibility Audit

Comprehensive technical report with all detected non-compliances, qualified by WCAG criteria, severity and user impact.

  2. 02 Manual verification + AI automated tools
  3. 03 Screenshots and evidence of each issue
  4. 04 Classification by severity (critical, major, minor)
  5. 05 Executive summary for management

Prioritized Action Plan

Clear roadmap with corrections prioritized by impact and effort. So your team knows exactly what to do first.

  1. 01 Impact/effort prioritization matrix
  2. 02 Time estimation per correction
  3. 03 Task dependencies
  4. 04 Quick wins recommendations
  5. 05 Suggested milestones for tracking

Accessibility Statement

Official document certifying your website's accessibility level. Ready to publish according to RD 1112/2018 requirements.

  1. 01 Conformance status (full, partial, non-conformant)
  2. 02 List of non-accessible content
  3. 03 Planned remediation measures
  4. 04 Contact mechanism for issues
  5. 05 Date and evaluation method
